Without a clear workflow
- Receipt screenshots scattered across chats
- Manual checks across apps and notifications
- Similar amounts make order matching harder
- The team lacks a clear payment status
We are building Taakeed Pay to detect payment signals, match them to orders, and send uncertain cases for review. Prepare your account for a clearer store workflow without chasing receipts across apps.
Funds go straight to your account. Taakeed Pay organizes verification and reconciliation.
Labor saving assumes 3 review minutes per order, an EGP 60 hourly cost, and that all review time is saved. Disputed receipt exposure is a separate hypothetical figure based on a 1.5% rate and EGP 450 average order.
Gateway fee difference = sales × rate + orders × fixed fee − subscription. It assumes all selected orders move from a gateway to suitable direct payments and excludes transfer or other costs. Do not add the labor and fee figures: both deduct the same subscription, and neither is realized savings.
Taakeed Pay is designed to bring payment signals and order states into a workflow your team can review.
The operational features shown are part of the product design in progress.
Create a payment request from your store or system with its amount and expected receiving account.
An authorized source sends the needed event details. The server analyzes them without relying on a phone-side decision.
See the match and its reasons. Clear cases move forward; uncertain ones reach your review queue.
Track what each courier collected, what reached the merchant, and what remains outstanding. Every step in the collection and settlement chain has its own status and record.
Learn moreWe plan ready-made WooCommerce and Shopify plugins, followed by other integrations relevant to merchants in Egypt. For custom systems, we are preparing a REST API and Webhooks for orders and review states. Release priority will follow demand; integrations are in development.
Taakeed PayMerchant demand will shape plugin priority. A listed platform is not an available integration yet.
They serve different roles. Use a gateway to accept its supported payment methods, and Taakeed Pay to organize matching of direct transfers and collections to orders.
| Comparison | Payment gateway | Taakeed Pay (planned) |
|---|---|---|
| Core role | Accept payments through the gateway’s supported channels and complete checkout. | Detect direct-payment signals, match them to orders, and review uncertain cases. |
| Money flow | Processing and settlement follow the provider’s service and contract. | Customers pay the merchant directly; the platform does not receive or hold funds. |
| Payment methods | Available channels vary by provider and merchant plan. | Focuses on direct transfers, wallets, and cash on delivery, subject to approved event sources. |
| Pricing | Some published offers combine a percentage with a fixed EGP 2 or 3 per transaction. Terms vary by provider and contract. | Proposed monthly tiers: Starter EGP 299, Growth EGP 799, Pro EGP 1,999. Final prices will be announced before subscribing. |
| Store connection | Many gateways offer plugins, APIs, and Webhooks. | Planned store plugins, REST API, and Webhooks for order and review status. |
| Best fit | When you need checkout and the payment methods the gateway offers. | When you need visibility into payments made directly to your accounts and cash collection. |
You can use both: a gateway for payment acceptance, and Taakeed Pay for direct payments and collections that need their own workflow.
This is a general comparison. Gateway fees vary by provider and contract, so a precise financial difference requires a real quote. The Taakeed Pay prices and capabilities shown are proposed and have not launched.
We are designing a simple setup, while actual connection time depends on the store platform and each merchant’s available payment source.
Start with WooCommerce or Shopify when their integrations launch, or use the API for your own system.
Choose a receiving account and authorized event source, then test the signal before confirming an order.
See match reasons and cases needing your attention, then configure when your store updates an order.
We are designing review layers to surface suspicious cases before an order is confirmed.
Amount, reference, receiving account, and timing are reviewed together.
The same transaction should not confirm more than one order.
A screenshot alone is not enough; incomplete evidence goes to review.
Decision reasons and status changes remain visible for follow-up.
In the planned flow, a previously used reference prevents automatic confirmation. A receipt screenshot alone is not final proof that funds arrived.
These are proposed monthly launch prices in EGP. We will confirm final features and terms before subscriptions begin.
No subscriptions are being charged. Creating an account does not activate a paid plan.
No. Customers pay merchants directly. Taakeed Pay organizes payment detection, matching, and collection reconciliation.
No. Signal strength varies by source. Uncertain cases require review, and the phone does not make the final decision.
No. It also serves services, bookings, delivery, and applications that need to connect a payment to a request or reference.
You may use both. A gateway accepts payments through its channels; we are developing Taakeed Pay to match direct payments and collections to orders and review uncertain cases.
